The Crone Law Group's litigation department, usually known for handling high end business, securities and commercial litigation, has taken a turn for the greener. The firm's lead litigator, partner Michael Coffino, represents Dr. Anne Wolff in an appeal court battle to save a grove of 100 year old eucalyptus trees. The cast raises significant statewide policy issues about property rights, and specifically, the ability of private parties to limit and control the use and enjoyment of natural land conditions on the property of their neighbors.

China North East Petroleum Acquires Oil Drilling and Services Company.
China North East Petroleum Holdings Ltd. (AMEX: NEP) announced on October 1, 2009 that it acquired Song Yuan Tiancheng Drilling Engineering Co. Ltd. The acquisition expands the company's vertical integration within China's oil E&P industry.

Ryan's practice is concentrated in corporate and securities law, with particular emphasis on capital markets.
